This review is from: Miz Mooz Women's Casablanca Mid Calf Boot (Apparel) I really love the way these boots look, but they're not for everyone. They definitely run big (I wear a 7.5-8 and the size 7 fits fine). They only come halfway up your calf, which I like but again, not for everyone. The weird part is the heaviness of the sole and the zipper up the back of the ankle. It makes my gait a bit strange when I walk. But really cute overall, and they look great with skirts and pants. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Miz Mooz Women's Casablanca Mid Calf Boot (Apparel) These boots definitely run big. I usually were a 7 1/2 or 8. I ordered a 7 and they fit great, even with a thick sock. I don't think they are long or heavy. They actually make my foot look very petite. They are not the most comfortable I tried, but are far more comfortable than any thing with a higher heal. The 2 things I didn't love were that they are a little big for my calves(although I have very small calves), and the height is not what I'm used to. I usually were boots that come all the way up to my knee. These hit me right at the biggest part of my calf. It's grown on me though and now I actually like the height, it's something different. They are dressy enough for skirts and look very cute with jeans over the top. Don't look great with jeans tucked in however. Hope it helps... This review is from: Miz Mooz Women's Casablanca Mid Calf Boot (Apparel) I love these boots but I bought the wrong size online. I read all about them being half a size too big but I still didn't get the right size. So yes, they are definitely half a size too big. I will try again, but even though my boots are too big, I can see what makes them a great pair of boots - it is the slimline ankle. Poking out the bottom of your jeans is a very snazzily clad foot and ankle. But this aspect of the boot raises another downside, and that is that the ankle and leg of the boot are quite narrow. I am wondering whether my ankle will fit into a boot that is smaller than the one I've got even though I don't have particularly big ankles (actually, I had thought they were quite slim). The round toe is very casual, but again, this makes them perfect for jeans. |
