Miz Mooz Women's Bonnie Slouch Boot

These boots fit really well and are so comfortable. My only complaint is that the leather has a very strong chemical smell unlike any other shoes I've had. I'm not sure what it is. I can smell it when the boots are off but in the same room as I am, and I can definitely smell it when I have them on. I haven't had them too long so I'm hoping it eventually goes away.

I bought these boots based on previous experience with Miz Mooz shoes/boots, which is a brand I quite like. When I tried them on for the first time, the zipper pull tab broke off on the right boot and then I couldn't get them off. I cut my finger quite badly on the broken pull tab before managing to get them off. And to make matters worse, the dye on the book came off all over my hands and stained my pants. The black dye won't come off and the pants are ruined. Needless to say, I returned the boots, but I'm really angry that I ruined a pair of pants in the process of trying on these boots. I don't see anyone else complaining of this dye problem, so it might have been a fluke. Still, makes me angry that there's no attempt to apologize or compensate me for the damage. I don't think I'll be buying any more Miz Mooz shoes anytime soon.

I just received these in a 7.5 and had to exchange them for an half size smaller. They run a little big! Otherwise, they're really cute and I'm excited to get them in the right size!
