These bots are cute and warm, however the sole will ware out after only one season! I haven't seen anything this cheap before. I would not recommend this product, even if on sale.

I've owned one other pair of Miz Mooz boots, and found their fit perfect for my wide feet. They have a unique look and always get compliments. This new pair, however, arrived smelling so toxic that I don't want to wear it or keep it in my home. I hope this can be resolved. I had seen other reviewers' complaints, but some customers seemed to have received boots that did not have this issue.

I purchased a previous incarnation of these Miz Mooz slouch boots about 5 years ago. I LOVE my old pair, and have worn them for EVERYTHING, all year round, so was excited to find that they're still available in an updated version. I am not sure I like these new ones as well. The lining on the shaft of the older slouch boots was a mesh fabric inside the leather, which made them super comfortable and breathable, even in hot weather, and the leather upper and lining still look almost new, after 5 years of hard wear (lots of dancing, city walking, even mountain hikes and desert dwelling). These new ones have a light fake fur lining, which is soft and comfortable with short socks, but probably not as durable or versatile as the mesh, and likely to make you sweat in hot weather. The shaft on my old pair was the perfect size; snug around my calves. These are a bit baggy. I am a size 0-2,but muscular, so maybe have smaller than average calves.
