I have seen pictures of moccasins much like these while researching Ojibwe/Chippewa history, so decided to order a pair. They have the soft sole and a foam insole for comfort, they are a medium width but work well for a somewhat narrower foot because the tie is adjustable. They seem to be very well made of good quality materials at a reasonable price. They are very comfortable, they were promptly shipped, I am 100% pleased with this transaction.

I needed some "authentic" 19th century shoes for my stints as a quiltmaker from that century who lived on the prairie. Boots are fine but not when the weather is hot. So I bought my shoe size,thinking that lightweight socks underneath would cushion. Wrong! Buy a size larger. I have high arches and found it difficult to tie these over my instep, Also they were generally tight so I couldn't wear socks and found the seams a rubbing annoyance.

Brought this for Christmas gift. Order was recieved promptly. My teenage daughter wanted moccassins that were soft bottom, with beads -- this was the one that fit her wants at my price. - Thanks
