I have large calf's so not recommended if you have shapely legs, unless you are willing to spend extra on stretching spray they are not able to alter at the shoe repair due to stitching it would ruin the boot. Although very cute boot, color and all, good quality, nice leather at a good price, especially when compared to a more expensive brand I spent about 300 less.

I was very disappointed by these boots. They looked so cute online and I was very diligent about reading reviews on amazon as well as on zappos and piperlime before buying. I am between a 7 and a 7.5, and opted for the bigger size due to recommendations from other reviewers. Unfortunately this was too big, so I returned it for the 7. I just got the 7 and it still doesn't fit right. The ankle was quite wide and this made the boot difficult to walk in as my heel kept slipping up. This is even while wearing the thickest hiking socks that I own. It is a shame because the boots are really cute and the perfect height (I'm only 5'1" so the below-the-knee height was ideal).

Another issue I had was the second pair I received was very beat up looking with lots of cracks and wrinkles in the leather. I don't think this because it was meant to look "distressed" because the first pair I received did not look this way and looked more like the picture. Sadly, these are going back too.
