Buyer beware, this boot does not fit like most combat style boots fit. It does leave much more room around the top of the foot and around the ankle. I thought the way the boot fit was quite cute as I was looking for more a motorcycle fit boot, which this is closer to. Also, I found the boot to fit a little big. I am usually a 7.5 when it comes to flats or sandals, and order a size 8 in boots, which has worked for me close to 100% of the time, but I found this size 8 to fit like an 8 1/2. I returned the boot anyway because it had a shoelace grommet defect, but had I wanted a replacement, I would have ordered a 7 1/2.

I wanted to purchase these boots in brown but waited a bit too long and was sold out. Fortunately, I found these, a bit cheaper in price, but match all my clothing colors. The boots are everything I hoped they would be and even better than my expectations.

I received these and wore them the next day, all day shopping, very comfortable. Just a note, I would have given 5 stars except I ordered for snow and bad weather and the bottoms are slick, would be a problem in bad weather.
