I love these boots. They are good looking casual boot. The most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. No need to break them in. I have other shoes from Merrell and these meet the excellent standard that I have grown accustomed to seeing from them.

I bought these reluctantly to replace an old pair of boots that just could no longer be repaired that I truly loved but can no longer find in stores. These boots are close in style and exceed my favorite ones with comfort. We don't get a lot of snow in our winters but often it is wet and slick and these boots have good traction and are practical for dress or casual. I have wide feet and arthritis so the fit of a boot is really important and even the medium width fits over my toes without pain throughout the day. The only drawback is getting my foot into the boot, the zipper opening is kind of narrow and my socks tend to stick to the inside of the boot making it a slight chore every time I want to put them on. But these are great, my new favorites.

These are very comfortable, lightweight shoes. The top around my leg was a little stiff at first, but it loosened up quickly. I was able to wear them all day right out of the box. My last pair of similar Merrell's are finally starting to show wear after 6 or 7 years of very frequent wear, and I suspect these will last just as long.
