These boots are great! I have only had them for about a month, but love them. Just in time for the snow, and they are super warm. My concerns before I bought them were the calf size. I had read a review on the Merrell website that someone with small-ish legs thought these were too tight in the calf- which is exactly why I chose them over a few other Merrells (which had had the opposite review). I have small legs and always have trouble with boots being too big in the calf. So I was very surprised when I got these- they fit my calf so well!!! Sometimes borderline tight if I layer up. So I am quite pleased with them!
However, they are kind of bulky in the ankle and lack definition. I think its just how they are made, so they can be flexible when you walk. So they don't look quite as sleek on me, even though they fit well in the calf. But they are still really nice, comfortable, and pretty sleek considering they are an all weather boot! I have had major feet problems since a recent surgery and need really good support and comfort in the snow and rain and have alot of issues finding shoes that look stylish as well. Not only do these boots look great with jeans and skirts but the support I get from them is incredible! I also get major compliments on these and I truly think the money spent on them is sooooo worth it. I love them!!!!!

These shoes keep my feet warm and dry in the coldest and wettest weather. They are as comfortable as my sneakers. There is room for my orthotics as well. They seem to have good traction on the soles. The calf of the boot is narrower than most boots I have ever tried on, but this makes it very easy to wear pants over the boot. Perhaps not the trendiest looking boot, but it is a SNOW boot.
