I ordered these boots in black, I did not want it for fashion just to work in, in cold weather. When they came in and I actually saw the boots, I was amazed. They are even more beautiful then what the pictures could ever show. Than, they fit perfect and walking in them is a pleasure. I have worn them many times in cold and rainy weather, they certainly do keep my feet warm, dry and toasty. I wore them for fashion not for working in the muck & mire, why ruin these beautiful boots. So, I bought a pair of cheaper boots but then I was amazed at what those boots are not, not very warm in the cold, flimsy tops, tops of boot are not lined, too large a gap on your calves and lets the rain or snow in to drip down to your feet, and I feel unbalanced in those boots. Now I have a decision to make either where the Merrell boots to work in or buy another pair of boots. My decision is to buy another pair of boots and put the crocs away. I love these Merrell boots, and they are beautiful.
