I love these boots! I ordered them from Amazon and they came delivery from Shoes.com. I ordered the 7 1/2 size. They came true to size and appear well made. They have the look of a wrap around layer of leather which is for appearance only, it can not be removed and the decorative zipper is fixed in place. They have one functional zipper on one side and a decorative non functional zipper on the outside. They are very comfortable and give plenty of calf leg room without being too much. The heels and sole are a rugged rubberized material and I like that I don't have that hard "click" sound when walking on hard surfaces. They have just enough of a worn look to be pleasing but not beat up. They are like they look in the picture. Slightly scuffed appearance on the toe and heel but does not look fake or overdone. I didn't get my boots from here, I did order them but they were out of stock. In the pictures they look awesome. But when I received them and put them on, they look kinda dorky and ugly. As for the sizing they do run true to size but it ticks me off that they don't make this in a size 9 1/2.

The 'outer layer of leather' is not what it appears to be. It is NOT a double layer of leather.
The shaft 'layer' is attached by a foam material to the 'shoe' guaranteed to rip, guaranteed. The pair that I recieved from Nordstrom's will go back. The cherry color is nice, and the heel height is nice, but that is all.
