I bought these a year ago- when over the knee boots were hard to find. I'm 5'5/5'6 and they go about an inch or 2 above my knee, and I never wear them rolled down because they look uber piratey. At first I always undid the buckle, snap and zipper, but I quickly discovered only unzipping is necessary! FYI, I do not have large calves, so this may not work for everyone. These boots aren't really made to wear over jeans-unless you are stick legged. I enjoy them with leggings or knee socks with skirts or shirt dresses. These boots are the best made footwear I have ever owned with no integrity issues whatsoever! They are beyond comfortable and have the perfect marriage of practicality/coolness. Now that over the knee boots are easy to find, I plan on investing in a sexier pair, with a higher heel,to mix my wardrobe up a bit. I was totally impressed by this pair of OTK boots after looking through billions of them. And I still like them, but... I was sent the suede ones instesd of leather ones. The fit is great, there is something chic the way they look. But the suede quality is awful to me. It makes the boots look cheaper. I guess if you own them in leather you should be happy without any "but". For reference I'm 6" tall and they hit the middle of my knee. And I find they look fantastic, I wish I had them in leather...

I'm 5'4" and usually wear 5.5 or 6. These come up high enough on my thighs and fit perfectly around my legs, but compared to other size 6s I have, they're at least a whole size too big. Alas, they don't come any smaller, so I'm sadly returning them. If you wear a bigger size (or super thick socks), I highly recommend them.
