Comment: I bought these boots earlier this year thinking that they were a great deal for the price and style. I ordered a size 9 and in Grey suede. I was so excited when I found these boots, I thought they were the cutest things. However, when I got them I couldn't have been more disappointed. The "grey" suede is more like an awful shade of green,but I tried them on anyway. The right boot went on my foot just fine and despite my larger calves, they fit around my leg. However, there's no give to the material at all so they wouldn't go over jeans. The left boot wouldn't even budge to go on my foot, as it was MUCH more narrow than the other boot. Also, the foot of the boot itself is rather long...much longer than a size 9 and looks quite awkward. Lastly, the sole of these boots looks quite cheap and there's no grip whatsoever to them. The pictures on here look great and are rather deceiving. In person they look cheap, have an awkward fit, and are even overpriced for the what you get. So please, save yourself some time and money. Don't let the pics deceive you as you'll probably end up returning them.

Comment: I don't think these run large! I usually wear a 7.5 and since other reviews said these run large I got a 7... they do not fit me; too tight! Steven Madden Bonanza size 7.5 also fit me a little tight. I think even the 7.5 in these would be a little snug, I think an 8 would have fit well. But even if they did, I'm not very impressed with them and will be returning them. They are just average, ok, slouchy boots. I can find better at my local mall for $35-$50.

I have average/small calves and these boots make my legs look like too much poofy material is going on. Maybe they put too much slouch in them? But that's just my opinion, maybe you like that look. They kind of have a pirate/robin hood look to them. I do however like that you can unfold the top and the boots go over my knee! So it's two looks in one. Also, u can tighten/untighten the ties to get the boot to fit better.

The quality seems average... these could last maybe a year or two. Depends how much/where you wear them.

Comment: These boots are exactly as described. Fit is pretty exact. Just very tight on the calf. I do not have really wide calves. Hoping they will stretch as they are worn.

Comment: I love these boots. All the reviews I read warned that they run big so I got a half size smaller than normal and it's a perfect fit. I got the grey and found them true to color. I'm not a skinny minney and I'd say my calves are average. I have no problems getting them on or off but I've always worn them with either a short flirty skirt or heavy leggins with a tunic. They are smashing..., really...., but not over the top. Perfect addition to my madden collection.

Comment: Based on other reviews, I was going to size down, but the half size down was sold out. So I ordered my typical size. The boot fits fine with perhaps a little extra length, but it is definitely not too big. The shaft of the boot has plenty of room to stuff your jeans into. Although there is no zipper, these are very easy to pull up onto your foot and over your calf. The boot comes up to just under the knee. The material is a synthetic microsuede. I ordered the grey--a very nice dark shade. The insole is flat and does not offer much in the way of support. They are fine for wear around an office, but I don't recommend wearing if you are going to be on your feet all day. Ultimately a very cute boot, and I am pleased with the purchase.
