It took two (2) replacement pairs of boots and the better part of a month passed from my initial order to final satisfaction, but these boots are really quite nice. Whether it was worth the all the time and hassle to get these boots I'll leave for you, the reader, to decide.

The first pair of boots I was sent had a nasty smear the color of the inside of a dried-out dirty coffee cup on the front of one of the boots. I called the Louisiana-based distributor directly and two weeks (!) later a replacement pair arrived. These were more defective than the original pair. See the photos I've uploaded in the 'customer images' section for this product and ask yourself if you'd be happy waiting two weeks for this.

More phone calls, more apologies and five days later, the third pair arrived. They were perfect.

This is a fabulous boot. The rubber is soft, the footbed is comfortable and the height and calf size perfect. I would warn anyone with heavy calves that it might be too tight. I have very skinny calves and narrow foot and heel. I did put an soft sole lining in which made the boot fit snug. No sliding foot with this boot and there is lots of room for big toe. I can wear these all day with no problem, unlike the cheaper boots I owned that were too wide and sloppy on the foot. Since I walk uneven terrain, it is important for the foot to not slip around in the boot. I highly recommend these. Definitely designed for a womans foot and not bulky.

I Love these boots. Very well made. Nice fit on ankles. Nothing to complain about. Good for all kinds of weather except for the beach unless you are digging for clams. Highly recommended.
