I bought these boots after trying on a pair of La Canadienne boots of another style that my friend owns. Once I tried hers on, I knew I had to buy some. These went on sale, so I jumped on the opportunity and I am so glad I did. This might be the most comfortable and warm pair of shoes I have ever owned.

I normally wear a size 6 or 6.5, but I bought a 7 in these because that's the size my friend had and they fit. These fit perfectly, so you may want to order a half size up.

I finally found the perfect replacement for the UK-made snow boots I bought 25 years ago. These are incredibly comfortable, with a hugging but not cramping fit and that velvet-soft shearling lining. They feel very stable without looking ungainly, and work well with jeans or slacks. With the sale price lowered even more by virtue of an Amazon gift card, I even got a bargain!

I bought a pair(the Stephanie boot) for my wife and she loved it for two weeks until it began to fall apart. The "comfortable sole" is it's downfall as the heel seems to be made of a compressed cardboard material (TPC, many La Canadienne use this product) that absorbs and expands with water contact making the rubber release from it. Despite this, La Canadienne refused to warranty these $400 boots. I would never buy a pair of La Canadienne boots again after what we went through with their customer service.
