I. LOVE. THIS. BOOT. Like the previous reviewer said, this boot is made of extremely soft leather. It feels luxurious to wear, and the liner is soft, warm, and doesn't get clammy (unlike some non-leather boots I have owned). It fits true to size. I normally wear a 9.5 in shoes or a 9.0 in boots; my boyfriend got me these in a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I tried the 9.0 on in store, and they fit a little more snug-ly all over, but were still comfortable. Overall, I think the 9.5 is a better choice. I am tall (5'11) and have slender calves, and this boot is a perfect fit through the leg--although the shaft doesn't come to my knee, it looks great as-is. (Not like it's supposed to come to my knee and doesn't.) What I love most is the high quality of construction and materials. This boot will last many years, and is simple enough that it will never go out of style. A great investment buy for yourself, or a great gift for the boot-loving lady in your life.

Excellent quality, fit, and comfort, even for my flat, wide feet. Cute, feminine style with a nice slim fit. I have smaller calves and it fit no problem over my skinny jeans. Not quite the style I was looking for so I'm sad to be returning them.
Love this pair of boots!,

As I'd expected, sizing up was a good idea to achieve a comfortable fit. I am typically a size 7, but sized up to a 7.5 because I took into account the socks or tights that I may wish to wear with these boots. I have not slipped in the boots just yet, but I'll update my review if I do fall this coming winter. I have never had a bad experience with La Canadienne boots and would highly recommend these!
