La Canadienne Women's Mercedes Boot

I bought a pair(the Stephanie boot) for my wife and she loved it for two weeks until it began to fall apart. The "comfortable sole" is it's downfall as the heel seems to be made of a compressed cardboard material (TPC, many La Canadienne use this product) that absorbs and expands with water contact making the rubber release from it. Despite this, La Canadienne refused to warranty these $400 boots. I would never buy a pair of La Canadienne boots again after what we went through with their customer service.

Last year I bought two pairs of these and used one with the rain recently. I was under the rain for no longer than 30 minutes, walking, and for a few minutes it was heavy rain. The boots were ruined. I emailed customer service and was told the warranty covers 6 months. I thought it was a joke, but it was not.

One of the best deals I've purchased from Amazon. The first day I used them on a Friday at work (I bought the charcoal color and matched it with a dark grey corduroy leggings), people were noticing it, complimenting, and asking what brand my boots were. These are comfortable, light, and looks classy. I would prefer though an inch lower. I walked with these the entire day and I lasted.
