I now buy three kinds of socks for the Minnesota winter - all must keep my feet warm and dry whether I'm inside or outside, walking or standing, working or playing. The KEEN socks are the ones that do all of that with style.
I got started with KEEN shoes years ago, and the fact that their shoes and socks retain their quality of performance and style over time is impressive.
These socks work well from -10 to +70 Fahrenheit.
Awesome socks,

Got these for my hubby as a stocking stuffer and he loves them. Worth the extra money as they are really cozy and durable.

I am in the Army and put a lot of miles on my feet. I have bought Smartwool, Bridgedale, and Keen socks. So far the Keen have been my favorite overall. They are the most durable. After many washings and much use the socks have not degraded. Multiple times I have worn these for several days straight on mission in Afghanistan and they were comfortable and the socks and my feet didn't get too smelly. They work great with hiking boots, but just barely clear 8" military boots. The sock has elastic all the way up the calf which is what I like, this way they don't fall down the calf. In the hot Afghan summer my feet have stayed fairly dry. I haven't gotten through winter with them yet, but I expect they will continue to be my favorite socks.
