Kamik Women's Avila Rain Boot

I am in Australia and saw similar Bogs boots on sale here that were really expensive. I did some shopping around and found these Kamik boots on Amazon for a third of the price that they were retailing at here.
I looked up several reviews online and a lot of people were saying that these boots were rather tight and that when ordering, a larger size should be ordered than what you would normally wear.
I'm a size 9 shoe here in Australia and I tried on a size 9 Bog brand boot that fit perfectly (American size). Due to the reviews I ordered a size 10 Kamik boot but should have stuck with the size 9. I can still wear them with an insole and thicker socks so no problems. I won't believe everything I read next time.
All in all I am very happy with these boots. They look amazing, they are well constructed, they are very comfortable to wear and there is a lot of stretch and give in the upper part of the boot. I don't need to use the handles to pull them on and I'm glad...Read more

I am so very happy with these boots. They do run a little big, but it allows me to wear a nice, thick sock with them. My feet do stay very warm, which might have a little to do with the socks but I was pleasantly surprized at just how warm my feet stayed. The traction is very good, and they are so much easier to pull on and off than regular rain boots. I see these getting a lot of use this winter!!!

I wanted to replace the typical plastic rainboots that don't fit well and are hard to walk in and thought these would fit my calves better. They do! They're cute with jeans - much snugger than the other ones I had and a great price here on Amazon. Like them a bunch already. Seem to be wide in the foot like you'd expect of rainboots -but fit great with warm socks.
