Boot shopping is horrendous. Almost as bad as car shopping in my opinion. I spent weeks looking online and in local shops for a comfortable, yet attractive boot that I could wear with most anything and use anywhere. This boot is super cute and is quite comfortable. I take the Clarks name seriously and I think they deliver here. I wanted these to be rainproof and so had to apply a wax coating myself, but it seems to be an effective treatment. My only complaints about this boot are that the leather looks a tad bit cheap, the boot is a big roomy/saggy in the ankle region, and the laces are really quite long. I tend to double-wrap them around my ankle and there's still plenty left over. Check 'em out.

I really do LOVE these boots. I have plantar fasciitis, so I have to wear orthotic inserts in my shoes. Most cheap shoes still cause me pain when I walk. Clark's shoes are amazingly comfortable, cute, and durable.
This particular boot (Olive Mary) is really great. They are true to size (I have to wear orthotics, so I always get half a size up). They also stretch out a little after you wear them a few times, too. The leather is nice in that it's not too shiny, it's got kind of a subdued, subtle look to it. It has a little more casual or rugged feel to it then other boot styles might be. The leather does wrinkle a little at the ankles, but it's not anything noticeable. I like that I can use the shoelaces to tighten of the boot, so they aren't loose around my ankle or foot. This makes for a snug, secure fit when walking all day!
The shoelaces are a tad long, but it's again not that big of a deal. They are definitely worth purchasing if you want a casual, trendy, everyday type...Read more
