I researched this boot online and read other people's reviews. I also watched a video on zappos that featured this boot. The video featured a shiny version boot, which did not match the pictures provided. Thank goodness it wasn't the shiny boots that arrived on my door step. I am originally size 8.5- just had a baby- and have read that foot size increases by 1/2 size during pregnancy and does not go back to normal. Anyway, I decided to go with my original size. And the boots fit perfectly. The fit around my feet and calves are perfect- snug. The boots are about 3 inches below the knees...perfect height for me. I'm so into these boots, I think I will purchase the nutmeg!

These boots were beautiful, but they were sized AT LEAST two sizes too small, and you would have to have the skinniest calf in the world to be able to zip them. I have normal size calves, and there was NO WAY I could have zipped these, thats if I could even gotten my feet into these tiny shoes, which was not possible. Order AT LEAST 1 size bigger, and these boots are ONLY for people with super skinny calves!!!

I love these boots! The price was great on Amazon when I bought them. They are leather and seem to be good quality. When I first put them on, they seemed a little tight, but the leather soon stretched slightly. They feel great now. Mine are true-to-size. I ordered the size I normally do for any shoe and they are perfect!
