Love these boots!! Since there aren't any reviews as of yet I thought I would help out anyone looking at these by strongly recommending them. They are the perfect height to fit underneath any flared or bootcut jeans. With jeans they just look like cute casual shoes while keeping keeping feet (& ankles) warm and dry. I have the honey/sable color and they are very cute- the shearling top & button detail are nice too. One thing to note- the bottoms are thicker than they appear to be & are a little more "heavy duty" than I expected with a good bottom grip (nice for icy Michigan winters here), but still look like womens' boots & very casual and cute.

There is sort of a negative space where there should be an arch support, then at the ball of the foot where the last should be lower, it is actually somehow raised. I suspect this, in addition to being uncomfortable in the try-on phase, could actually prove unhealthy in use. Plus the toe is somewhat narrow at the widest part of the foot - where the metatarsals join the phalanges (toes). I bought my normal size and there is plenty of length but I know this boot will stretch little across this part of the toe, as it is made of thick hide. So I am not sure I will be able to walk far in it but will report further after I have added an arch support. There is a pull-on loop; normally this would be a most helpful addition with a pull-on boot, but ironically on this boot the loop is too small - stingy! - for me to get my finger into. However, the boot is warm - well-insulated and very attractive in looks. To be continued...

These boots are not warm at the toe, and if you have any sort of sock on - they are very difficult to get on and off. When I've put them on over nylons, they go on more easily, but then my toes are even colder.

They are very stiff at the back, which is uncomfortable. The sole is also a very stiff material. It doesn't flex much and the traction is not great on snow or slick surfaces at all.

The button and loop are somewhat functional, but I think it's intended to really just be decorative. The loop is very hard to pull over the button - especially if you're wearing winter gloves or mittens. I've broken a nail trying to use it several times.

I thought these would be better than lace-up boots because the snow and ice wouldn't build up on the laces, but in the end, they were a waste of money.
