These shoes are pretty excellent. They're unique and I always get a lot of compliments on them! On the other hand, they're not exactly the highest quality around, hence the price, so double check the buttons whenever you can. You might want to take a little glue to the undersides as a pre-emptive measure, just in case.

However, they do run small. For me, this had little to do with the actual dimentions of the shoes and more to do with the way they're angled. The part of the shoe where your heel sits is very tight, forcing your foot farther down into the shoe and mashing your toes. I had originally ordered a size 8 (I'm normally a size 7.5), and I found them too uncomfortable to wear for more than the initial try on. A size 9 fits perfectly though!

If you have large calves, you might want to stay away from these. The elastic is not very forgiving.

I bought the black microfibre option, so I can't say anything about the black/white PU option, but--I found absolutely no problem with these boots whatsoever. I have muscular calves and they zip up without a problem! They are flexible, strong, lightweight, durable and ABSOLUTELY adorable. I get more comments on these boots than I do on practically all my other shoes combined! If I were to make any complaints it would be that 1) now that I've had the boots for almost a year and worn them at every opportunity, some of the seams are starting to peep white and worn, but I just go over them periodically with a black marker. The other complaint would be to WATCH OUT on wet asphalt! The traction on these boots is practically non-existent, and I took a rather hard fall in a church parking lot last sunday. Other than that, though, you can't do better!

These boots were comfortable for standing for three hours despite their height. The style is perfect. They do run about 1/2 size small.
