Frye Women's Harness 8R Boot

I bought these in tan and I love them. They are stylish and very comfortable. Don't forget that they run big. I ordered a half size smaller.

I read all the reviews and decided to just order my regular size of 9 1/2. I have a slightly wide foot and was hesitant but took the plunge. They arrived in 1 week and they looked narrow, so I waited 2 days until Saturday morning to try them on. I didnt want any swelling from during the day to make the boots too tight! Well, they slipped on easily enough and actually were not too tight!! A bit roomy in the heel, but it does not pull my socks down or rub. In fact the foot bed fits just where it needs to be in the witdth part in front. They stretch out some, so dont be intimidated by what is said about them being narrow. Like i said, i have a slightly wide foot and my regular size in these boots fits perfect. I have the 8 inch in tan and they are a feminine style boot in my opinion. I am very happy with these boots, and will buy more Fry boots in the future. I have big calves and still plenty of room. Thank you Amazon for offering this boot!

So there is no need for introducing the Frye household name. They make wondrous boots, and this was my first pair so I was expecting A LOT. They have lived up to it. The right boot was hard for me to put on at first but once you're in, you're in and it feels great. They were a bit heavy since I'm used to wearing lighter boots and I didn't expect these flat boots to be so heavy. But they are made to be sturdy and I love that about them! They are comfortable and the leather became supple once I've worn them a couple times. They look great with shorts, leggings, skinnies, whatever you want! I got them in black in a 6.5 when I usually wear 7.
