FRYE Women's Fiona Stitch Boot

After buying the Frye Carson Riding boot I was hooked! I saw these on sale last week and wanted them but couldn't find any reviews to help me with sizing. Reviews on other Frye boots all recommended going down a half size so I did with this boot and it was a mistake. Apparently, sizing down holds true for flat boots and not heels. So back they went and I just got these in my true size 71/2. They are gorgeous; beautiful color (bordeaux) and stitching and I love the little studs. I conditioned them last night before wearing today as we have snow.I brought a spare pair of boots to work with me in case these took breaking in. I have a very high arch so boots can be painful across the top of the foot. These were pretty tight at first, so I was worried but within hours are comfortable across the top. The toebox is narrower than my other boots but stretching to fit nicely. I have been looking at these boots for months, and when I found them for such a great price, I couldn't resist buying them. And I do not regret it! They are fantastic! This is my first pair of Frye boots, and the quality is everything I expected. The stitching and studs dress this style up enough that you want to show them off by wearing with a skirt/dress or pants tucked in. The heel on these boots is a great height. I wore them last night for the first time and they were comfortable from the moment I put them on! They will be my "go to" shoes, I can already tell (unless, that is, I get another pair of Frye boots!). I've read several different things about sizing with Frye boots, but when I ordered, stuck by what I usually wear, a 7. They fit perfectly. I often can wear a 6.5, but I think these would have been too small in that size, and a 7.5 would have been too big. These are absolutely gorgeous leather boots. They look great and are so comfy in the foot area. Sadly I have skinny legs so the boot scrunched badly at the ankle and was way too loose at the top (for reference - 8.5 in at smallest part of ankle and 13.5 just below knee) . If you have normal legs, buy these! They're awesome!
