I bought these boots last week. I ordered the cognac colour and it's just perfect, true to what the photos show. I love them. After reading other reviews (elsewhere online) I decided to order slightly larger than my size (I'm a 7.5, ordered an 8.5). They fit well. The widest part of my foot sits at the widest part of the boot. The heel slipped a little at first, but I added an insole and now they're just fine. I've never had any problems fitting into knee-high boots, but find these very firm fitting around the calves. I can only just get my jeans tucked into them. My sister has the same shoe size as me but couldn't get into these boots (she has high arches, couldn't get her heel down into the boot). The heel height is really comfortable for all-day wear.
