I have a pair of Frye cowboy boots that I love, are so comfortable, and that I know will last me forever. I bought a pair of these on ebay about a month ago, thinking it was worth it to pay for a gorgeous, classic style and good quality construction. Well, after a few wearings, the sole started to peel off around the toe. After a month, the FAKE WOOD coating on the heel has scraped off to reveal WHITE PLASTIC beneath! Frye!!!! Please tell me this is not typical construction and that I bought a pair of knock-offs that happen to have your exact logo on the heel, sole, and inside. I am so deeply disappointed in these boots. I have long supported companies that continue to construct high-quality products, but many of them are turning to cheap labor and cheap materials. I hope Frye is not one of these companies.

The boots were just beautiful, so I almost cried when the fit didn't work out. I have large feet, usually wearing a 10 or 11, and decided to try the 10 as that was the largest available. Well, I will just say this style doesn't run big. They were really small, but actually really hard to get on to find that out as well. Since they have a fairly slim fit, and not zipper, it is tight to get your foot through the ankle, and they still look baggy after they are on. For my shapely calves, they were tight on the leg & baggy looking on the ankle. An all around bad fit for me, but if you have less shapely legs... oh, they are gorgeous! (sigh).
