FRYE Women's Cindy Slouch Boot

I received this as a Christmas gift one year ago. They were beautiful, comfortable boots. Last spring I had the heel replaced, now they slouch around my ankles. I only wear them under boot cut jeans, because they don't stay up at all. The sole, while not worn through, does not hold its shape and the tip of the sole has become much thinner than the rest of the sole. Granted I have worn them alot, but for $300 I would have expected them to look nice longer than they have. At slightly less than one year old, they look old and worn.

These boots are much lighter colored than they appear online, more like a lightly toasted marshmallow than caramel colored. Since they weren't what I was expecting, I contacted the company about returning them for a different color. However, there is no other color available. The rep was very nice and offered a refund when the boots were received back to them. Once I got used to the color, I decided to keep them. They are very good quality Frye boots. I look forward to wearing them when it gets cooler.

I like the boots over all. however, where the shaft of the boot meets the bottom half of the boot the leather sticks out quite a bit. the boots are true to size and become more comfortable after you wear them a few times.
