Summary: snug fit on calves 2010-06-27
Comment: I've been searching for a flat-heel, tall leather (no suede please) boot. Normally I don't wear Fryes because I have wide feet and they seem to run narrow. With these shoes, I ordered a whole size larger than what I usually wear, and my feet stay comfortable for about 4 hours. I would not wear these if I was going to be on my feet all day. My feet are flat as well as wide, so I added a firm insole for arch support. The shaft is also pretty narrow; I have relatively large calves for my size (5'1", 115 lbs) and these boots fit snug, but not too tight to bother me. But there's no way I could tuck pants into these boots. The bordeaux color is beautiful; I can treat it like an almost-neutral; it reads as a red-brown under my dark wash jeans. The metallic piping reminds me of Wonder Woman boots, which is not a negative thing for me. The soles are slippery when new- be careful.

Summary: Comfy city boots 2010-03-04
Comment: I purchased these in black, and I have to say, they're perfect for walking. I find them very comfortable. My calves are on the skinnier side (13.5 inch diameter) and wearing tucked in jeans was not an issue for me. I would definitely recommend them if you need flat boots.

Summary: price great, boots, not so much 2010-02-25
Comment: I was so excited to find frye boots at such a great price. However, I was a bit disappointing when they finally arrived. The calves run very small. I could barely get them on with skinny jeans. Also, I ordered them in black and the piping is much more gold looking in person. Finally, even though I tried on another pair on frye boots and was a 7.5, these seemed to run a little big. Small in the calve, bunched up at the ankle, and big in the feet. Unfortunately I will have to return them.

Summary: Beautiful boots that need a lot of breaking in 2010-02-01
Comment: These are gorgeous boots that fit my foot perfectly, however, they definitely run small in the calves... it's difficult to wear wintry socks with them, or tuck jeans in them. But, with some more breaking in, I know they'll fit me perfectly.
