But, the boots are different in that the pitch of the heels of the left and right boots are different. I have a friend with a different style but the same problem. When I wear them for more than a couple of hours, it becomes very noticeable to me. With the cost being over $350.00 it seems wrong to be dealing with this. This is my 3rd pair of Frye boots with issues, and the only pair I didn't return. I am sorry that I didn't. These boots do run a little large, this is the second pair that I've purchased a half size down from the normal size that I wear. The fit is a little tight on one foot, but I know that they will stretch out a little bit and be PERFECT. The only thing I was a little surprised by was how soft the leather was on the shaft.. the photos make the boots look like they could stand up on their own. The leather is so soft that the boots are slouchy in the midshaft area. I know this is the fashion, but I wasn't really expecting that. The color (sapphire)is so beautiful, though, that I think I can live with a little slouchy-ness. All in all.. another fine purchase from Frye. I'm still a fan! |
