I'll admit that I haven't had a chance to test these boots in really hard weather (ie deep snow or deep puddles), though the first weekend I had them I wore them for a decent hike in the damp weather and they held up and felt great. The stitching, canvas, and vulcanization seem solid, and they have a nice deep tread for good traction. At $25 I usually expect a pair of shoes/sneakers/boots to last maybe one to two years, and I think these could easily make it longer.
If you're someone like me who often wears doc martins or full leather combat boots, these are a really decent pair of spring through fall boots (ie lighter and a bit cooler), and, unlike docs, they don't take much to break in.

Ordered the same size boot that I was issued in Viet Nam, fit like a glove.
Great price, perfect fit. What more could you ask for?

well what can I say that doesn't need saying. . . . there are U.S.A Vietnam combat boots
they have drain holes and dry fast
full ankle support
the best grip I have ever seen on any boot (except a true loggers boot but those have 15-20mm spikes)
I use there all the time and they work great
look I'm an Alaskan and I put things to the test in the most rugged unforgiving land in the United states of America and these boots pasted with flying colors
I recommend these to any hiker, camper, hunter, guide, airsoft/paintball player, or any other outdoorsman who needs a good solid boot that will hold up to anything.
