So, I totally had been lusting over this boot as that I love farylrobin designs and, jeez, just shoes in general. When they went on sale I leapt with joy and sprang out the plastic. To my dismay, when I first pulled the boot out of it's box not only did the leather feel like plastic dipped in wax, but there are also obscenely long laces which dangle almost to the floor (even when tied in a bow). The biggest "maaaan, these boots suck" review I can offer though is that after wearing them for only 3 freakin' hours, the bottom of the boot just peeeeled off two inches from the toe. Cheap cheap cheap. I know they look cute (and they still are in person, aside from the lifted base, and cheap-o leather). But, come on, these boots retail for almost $300.

The boots are eactly as they look on the pic - cheap leather, feels like I could have blisters for a while, the around belts look funky .. I might take out the upper one. The size and fit is fine, medium width and my calfes are not that small I am a runner and they fit , I even might get into with the skinny jeans - kind of a nice surprise. Quality wise - CAN'T believe these boots could be almost $300.. you must be kidding. I bought them on good sale, thanks g! The bottom is made of leather .. won't last long, I will patch it before I put them on. The bottom of the heel is plastic and looks like might be slippery on some grounds and surfaces. Would give almost 5 stars if the leather and the bottom was made for lasting..

I was at banana republic in line and a lady in front of me had the dark brown boots on and I complimented her on them and asked where she got them. She said Nordstrom, so I came back to work and searched for them and found them on Amazon for much cheaper! I bought the dark brown boots too and wore them 3 times...I love them! I wear size 7 and have skinny calves and I wear a thick sock and a heel insole and they are very comfy. I also put a non-slip grip on the bottom sole like I do all my shoes. Glad I purchased them and you should too!
