I love these boots!
Bought them somewhere else FYI... My calfs are 13" (I'm 5'10"), and most boots fall off my legs. These fit the snuggest of all Ive tried so far, and come almost to my knee. Very comfortable and nice leather. The heel feels shorter than the 1.5" it is.
Buy these!!!

I really had to work to get these 'Wide Calf Boots' zipped on my right calf (17.5 inches) but not on my left (17" and zipped right up). The leather is quality, the workmanship beautiful. I do wish they would have fit!

I should have read the reviews before purchasing these boots or at least measured my calf first. I bought these in a size 6 even though I really am a size 6.5. Although they're a half size smaller they fit perfectly in the foot area. I tried these boots on after a 8 hour day and my calves were swollen. I had to literally try and suck in my calf, like one would do with their stomach. With a pair of skinny jeans tucked into the boots I barely had any feeling in my feet and legs walking down the block. Oh, dear me!! But after sitting down for a couple of hours during dinner they must have stretched out a bit and now the calf area fits perfectly. Oh thank goodness! I love the way they look and now that they fit, I'm keeping them.
PLEASE measure your calf before buying. They run small! And I'm a fairly petite person. 5'2 and 108lbs. Apparently I have huge calves...
