I got these because I didn't want to spend the money on super expensive UGG's but really wanted a pair of sheepskin boots. These were an amazing purchase for living in the snowy climate I do, because they have a thick bottom meant for traction and being outside. The rubber is VERY durable and not the thin bottoms that comes on the normal styles. They are already apparently waterproofed, but I sprayed them myself as well to make sure they would be safe going outside. I have worn them outside through puddles and slush and snow and they still look like the day I got them. Beware, they are heavier due to their soles being made for outdoors so they are not a lightweight sheepskin boot. Also, they felt a little tight the first couple times I wore them but now feel amazing. Some people have advised buying bigger sizes. I would not. They do stretch and would probably be too big if I ordered any bigger. Great purchase if you are looking for Emu's that can handle some weather.

This shoe is so cute and warm. Its pretty comfortable. If you look up the item description on EMU's official website, they mention re-enforced heel support as well as arch support. There is a little bit of arch support, but honestly, if you have foot problems (Like I do) it's not as much support as you'd hope for, especially at the MSRP price. I'd say that's the only downfall to this shoe for me, other than that, i got them for a great price and am very happy with them! The insole actually comes out and you can put something with more support in there very easily if you'd like (but then you lose the fur on the bottom of your foot). Also - I normally wear a size ten, and I originally ordered size 9 because I was reading reviews about them being big, but I had to return them and stick with the tens, which were perfect for me.

I bought these boots by mistake, thinking they were mid boots. That's what happens while shopping late online. Needless to say, I'm going to buy another pair!! They feel great on my feet and are warm and cozy! I bought this brand many years ago when Big 5 sporting goods carried them and was bummed out when they stopped carrying them. I've been wearing Bear Paws which are okay but love the EMU brand!!!
