These are actually my second pair of Emu Stinger boots. I purchased the Chestnut last year and loved them so much, I just got a new pair in black. Emu makes a great quality product, as good as UGG in my opinion but you are able to find Emu's at a much better price...especially on Amazon.com. The same boot was $179 at Macy's, I got mine for $76 during the Black Friday Sale. The Stinger is made of genuine Australian Sheepskin just like the Uggs, but at a fraction of the cost. Keep in mind, not all Emu's are sheepskin, some have Merino wool lining (The Bronte), so pay close attention to the description of the style you are looking at.

I highly recommend these boots if you are looking for a sheepskin style. Also, they are pretty true to size. I usually wear a 7-7 1/2, I ordered both pairs in a 7 and they fit perfectly.

After much comparing, I decided to buy this boot as it looked comfortable. I followed the instructions and bought the size down for between sizes. Unfortunately, the boot was way too tight on my toes, I actually need the size larger. Since a return for wrong size is not considered "Amazon's fault" I have to pay return shipping even though I followed their instructions for sizing. Not my fault either! There should be more details on sizing this boot. I have ordered the larger size and will make another review later.

12/23/10 - now that I have received the larger size, I have upped my rating. The boot in the correct size is very comfortable and warm.

I got these boots in chestnut last week. I absolutely love them. I was told not to wear socks with them and this assertion is correct as I wore them all day this past Sunday on a very cold day and my toes stayed toasty. I wore them all day and 8 hrs later when I took my foot out of the boot, the were completely dry.
