Comment: I'm very happy that I took advantage of this Gold Box Deal. Love the boots, high quality, so warm and comfortable. I wear an 8 in all other shoes so I ordered an 8. They felt snug initially but after a few wearings, the shearling did conform to my foot and now they feel just right. Really like them alot....hoping another good deal comes along in the chocolate color cause I'd snap them up!

Comment: I purchased a pair of these on sale because I really wasn't into the whole UGG-style trendy boot thing. I am sooo happy I did. These are the best boots I have ever owned! Later I decided to try a pair of the Bronte Hi's and I am returning them, nothing compares to the Stinger's! The material both inside and out is so much better.

Pros:
- Very warm
- Easy to slip on
- Extremely comfortable
- When waterproofed - waterproof! (I bought some "Kiwi" waterproofing spray - needs 2 coats)
- Did I mention comfortable?
- The material inside did not shed for me
- Very light - I do not feel like I am wearing winter boots
- Trendy? I guess some trends can be utilitarian (functional, not just for show)

Cons:
- Need to be waterproofed if you expect to wear these in the snow
- In my opinion makes your feet look a little big
- Can be too warm
- A little funny to walk in at first, you have to get used to them

Comment: I normally wear size 8 1/2 or 9, mainly because I have VERY wide feet. These were only a little tight (but not uncomfortable) when I got them, and within a week, had loosened up. I would definitely go down a size not up. Another review I read, said these weren't the real deal, they are, they have the removeable insole. Also, I'm overweight and was concerned that the calves would be too tight and they weren't. If you have very skinny calves, these boots will be loose, but they stand up quite nice, so they shouldn't slouch. Overall great purchase, my first pair of shoes of this type and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely purchase Emu boots again.

Comment: I thought I'd share a tip. I ordered Ugg water repellent spray from Zappos with free shipping. I can't really comment on the boots except to say that I bought my normal size, and they are fine. The weather hasn't been bad enough to wear the boots since I bought them, so I'll know more about them after next season.

Comment: Got this on a Gold Box deal and am very happy with the value. I have a wide foot with a high instep. I usually wear a size 9 M or 8 WW. The 8 M in these fit just fine. Nice materials and workmanship.
