Comment: I was never really into these types of boots, but when I saw these, I thought the tie up ribbon was just so cute so I had to have them. I bought a size 5, but I usually wear 6.5, and I'm so glad that I did buy smaller because they fit perfectly. They keep my feet warm and dry during cold winter days. I'm very satisfied with these boots.

Summary: Not really for petite people 2010-03-06
Comment: I ordered two pairs of these when they were the GB special for $30 each. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to UGGs and I really wanted to love these, but unfortunately didn't. If you have smaller calves, these will be much too big. I found they ran a little big in the foot also, even when I ordered the smaller size (I'm normally 5.5 but ordered 5s). The sizing is not for petite people. So I had to return them. I actually thought the ties were really cute but it's true that they can look a little sloppy.
They aren't the best quality - I noticed some weird seam/glue issues on the black ones but the chestnut ones looked fine and the inside isn't as soft as an UGG or Koolaburra. But if you're looking for a much cheaper UGG alternative, then these are great if you can catch an Amazon deal.
