These weren't available in australia until spring 2011 so i took a chance and ordrered without seeing the product in the flesh. wrong decision.the box these boots came in offered more sturdy quality than the oots inside. i love emu products and style but these boots are so insubstantial and flimsy that i
wont trust brand history again when
buying online. the photos show an upright boot that sits about mid calf... in reality they slouch arojnd and fall into more of a daggy old slouch ankle booty... like a bed sock with a sole. i have cocontacted emu in australia but am still waiting for a reply and wont hold my breath. my thumbs couldnt be any further down.

Ok-I didn't buy from this person, but I already have the shoe and I'm going to buy it. They are super comfortable and super durable. I wear mine everyday for almost a year, and their are a little worn now. I've had them for a total of two years and constantly wear them and I could probably squeeze another season out of them. Yes, someone said they're floppy. Umm.. they're leather and strecth with time, but thats something I love about them. Super cute. BUY THEM!

I actually have really enjoyed my grey pair of these boots. The fur lining in the very bottom is very comfortable, much more so than some other types of boots I've purchased before. I understand what the other reviewer mentioned about the flimsy nature of the stand-up part of the boot, but I like the slouchy look when I'm wearing skirts and when you tuck pants into them, they stand up perfectly straight. The actually material of the "flimsy" part is clearly real leather though and feels nice, it's just not very thick, which makes for a perfect lighter boot. I'd say for the price, these boots are completely worth it. I'm a grad student, but they were still well in my price range and I think it looks like I spent more (except to my friends, who know I never pay full price for anything!).
