I found the boots to fit true-to-size.
I ordered an 8 although my feet measure as a 7.5.
Size 8 fits like a Size 8- quite a bit of room in the ankle and the foot;
but adjusting the laces allows for a better fit.
HOWEVER:
I do not like the distressing on the front toe-it looks like the boots are wet and dirty which is not at all appealing.
ALSO:
The boot looks and feels too artificially pumped up with the huge heel and platform. It looks like it is an accommodation for some sort of deformity.
Also, the boots are sort of heavy.
All-in All: Awkward and Affected

Had to return these - they run extremely small and the heel is very high - cute boot though - like the distressed look.

I recently received these great wedge ankle boots. They were/ are exactly what I was looking for, but after wearing them once or twice I noticed the laces starting to fray a bit where they rub again the top hooks. I've had them maybe two weeks now, worn them a few times, and yesterday while driving I noticed my right boot loosen on my foot. I got to my destination and sure enough my lace had broken. It's extremely disappointing because otherwise they are a great comfortable shoe, I get tons of compliments on and I don't want to return them but now I'm faced with the trouble of finding decent replacement laces.
