Dr. Martens Women's Nellie Boot

These boots are the exact kind of quality and classic styling one expects from Doc Martens. The print on the canvas on one of my boots is offset by about 2mm, but no one would really notice that. It's also important to note that, as the shaft is covered canvas, these boots are NOT COMPLETELY WATERPROOF. Otherwise, a cute and well-made pair of boots to snazz up rainy days :)

I got these as a b-day gift and they are absolutely the cutest boots I've ever seen! Hey, other than rainboots, when else can an adult female walk around in screaming zonker yellow toile? Apparently, they aren't entirely waterproof, but I assume a spray of silicone can fix that. They do run bigger than the lace-up Docs---my 1460's are size 7(UK F) and fit perfectly. So are these but they are a good half-size bigger--something those who wear half-sizes should take into consideration and order down. For me it's no worries because I intend to be gardening in them and that requires thick socks. *G* I will be, without doubt, the most adorable middle-aged gardener in the neighborhood. And I DEFY anyone to miss them! LOL!

A month later with SoCal rains and mudslides, and these still rock hard! I managed to trudge through a small arroyo flood and stayed dry. Just sayin', gang!

These boots are super fun but, unfortunately, not waterproof as you might expect. If that's not your main requirement then go for it. They fit just as well as Doc Martens shoes do (same size, etc.) so if you have a pair you know what size to order.
