I have owned many pairs of Doc's over the years and swear by them to this day, so when it came time to choose a work boot they were the obvious choice. These boots do not disappoint!!! From the materials and stitching, to the design and comfort (right out of the box), these are VERY well made boots. The gaucho volcano color with the distressed leather looks amazing too. For such a tough looking boot, they feel really light to wear and the insoles, ankle support and general fit were perfect for my feet from the moment I put them on, not to mention that DM's cushioned soles are still way better than any of the other brands like Timberland, CAT etc. and they stay comfy all day long.

Great boots for work and play! They keep my husband's feet dry and comfortable all day. Worth every cent. I recommend these to everyone even thinking about buying them.

I have owned my boots for about 9 months. I walk nearly every day at work. After about 6 months of regular use, I have to put an insole in the boot because the factory insole is no longer comfortable. I work for the Railroad, and consistently have to walk 1+ miles in 2-4" rock, on an incline. The rock will tear up any other type of boot that I have had in 3-6 months. (Timberlands, Wolverines, etc.)

Currently, I still wear these boots everyday. However, I contacted Dr. Martens today because the sole on one of my boots has started to separate. I have had this happen twice before with Docs (different pairs). The first time it happened, it was within one week of purchase, I contacted Doc, and had a replacement pair within 1 week at no charge. The second time it happened, I never contacted Doc. The boots were wore out, (the tread was completely worn off the sole and I had worn the boots nearly every day for over a year and a half) and I felt that I got my money's worth...Read more
