I picked these boots up at a local dept store for a steal but they are worth the $. The quality is excellent and the boot is very comfortable. They seem to run a little larger than normal in LENGTH ONLY. I normally wear a 7, bought a 6.5 and still have plenty of wiggle room in the toe area. However, the width of the shoe is normal to narrow so those with a wide foot beware! My style is classic with a bit of a trendy twist, and these boots fit the bill perfectly. I LOVE a comfortable shoe with some attitude because, in my opinion, you shouldn't compromise fashion for comfort if you don't have to. These boots definitely don't compromise on style!! LOVE them!!
Loved them on screen but they are SO MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!,

I just received these boots (thanks to an awesome sale!) and I'm blown away. The colors are much richer than they appear on screen and the calf hair has a lovely sheen. Obviously the pattern is printed, but it's done really well. These boots don't suffer from that cheap faux look that some other animal print on calf hair boots & shoes have. These are my first Pliners, but I don't think they'll be my last.
They feel true to size & are much lighter in weight than I expected from a boot of this type. They're quite comfortable right out of the box except for one little thing. I have a high instep and there is a seam that crosses the instep of the boot (around the bottom of the lacing) that's a little uncomfortable for me. I love them too much to let them go so, I'm crossing my fingers & trusting that the leather of these high-end boots will relax quickly. Oh, and the zipper on high-top lace-up boots -- genius!
If you've had your eye on these I heartily...Read more
