I bought these elsewhere in black, and they are a blast. I'm a true 7.5, with a somewhat athletic calf (but not a huge one, I'm only 5'3" and 115 pounds), and the opening of the boot (where the beading is) is comfortably loose, but not so loose as to flap around unattractively. These are going to be a blast to pair with leggings and Bohemian skirts and dresses. Two thumbs up!
