This is my third pair of these boots in three years. I am very rough on them, and am still wearing/using the first and second pair but they are no longer water-resistant after all the chemicals I have subjected them to in industrial work setting. Need to dress professional and be safe in a very slick industrial job. These are sleek, professional, no-nonsense work boots that are fast and easy to put on and take off, non-slip, resistant to a lot of substance, and steel-toed. If I didn't tromp through bleach, ammonia, and other industrial strength chemicals that are hard on leather (even if heavily mink-oiled) on a day-in-day-out basis, I wouldn't have gone through so many pairs. I am still using the older pairs when doing major woodworking projects and remodeling at home. They still look the same, but the seam around the sole is no-longer water-proof/resistant.
