Dansko Women's Buffy Ankle Boot

I finally decided to buy these boots for an upcoming trip to the rainy state of Washington. It took me that long to decide to buy them because I could not conceive of how Dansko created the same arch support in a heel as in the clogs. Well, they did! I had no problem with my arches after standing and walking in them for 6 hours. Naturally in a heel your foot slides forward and toes get squished. For me that pain stops once the shoe is off. The pain that comes without arch support can last until the next day.

These are darling but they are too tight across the instep and too narrow in the toes. I bought these for a friend's birthday but they killed her feet. I figured maybe I could wear them as we wear the same size shoe (8-1/2) and get something different for her but these hurt my feet also. Unfortunetly I didn't read Amazon's return shipping policy and I am now stuck with 2 pair but I am sure I have a friend whose feet are smaller than mine! I really like the look of these boots and am sorry we are unable to wear them. The gray suede is beautiful and the brown leather is so soft. I would buy 1/2 larger and a wide width if I were to buy these again.

i've back's been asking for a pair of dansko's for awhile, but i'm the type that is willing to suffer a little for fashion. however, this bootie has changed my life.

the booties are adorable, they fit perfectly, and have worn incredibly well so far. the only minor flaw is that the zippers unzip a little bit during the day, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. plus, they're cute enough for a full night of tromping around Denver to the bars, but can withstand all of the snow and ice winter brings.

the heel is the perfect height for work- giving me a little lift without warranting a "street walker..." glance from even my most conservative coworkers.

i will definitely be saving up to buy more styles. i'm in love.
