I am currently in Afghanistan and bought these boots last year before I deployed. My feet are easily susceptible to blisters, from the Army black boots to the suede tan boots. These are the first pair of boots that I have owned that have not given me the amount of blisters Ive had before. I did get one or two within the first 2 days of wearing them, but that was nothing compared to how bad other boots have torn my feet up. They have good support, and hold up well and comfortable even when going the distance in this terrain. The only cons I have, however, are that even though they are for hot weather, my feet still sweat in them (foot powder helps) and some of the seams are coming loose, but theyve been beat up quite a bit. Make sure to waterproof them before wearing them, too, because water will make its way inside of them quick. Also, I have a wide width foot and they were very comfortable and fit nice and true to size.

I had to get a pair of boots for my Officer's Basic course but had no time to break them in. These boots were amazing! They only took a couple of days to loosen up and feel good. Hopefully they'll be as amazing for field training. I love these boots!

I bought these boots after AIT. The issued ones were beginning too eat my feet up from every angle, and I figured the high price tag on these would be worth it, since reviews on duration of usability were good, they were extremely comfortable, and fit perfectly. For the first two months, they were a dream. Unfortunately, their durability did not live up to expectations. Between three and four months of excessively light use (we were working 11-12 hour days, 5-7 days a week, but I've got a desk job so my boots really only just sat there on my feet), there was a tangible degradation of internal cushioning and support. Less than 12 months later, I might as well be walking on flat stone pancakes. Granted, maybe the issue is that I'm not a typical female, and if I weighed less the boots would last longer. I weigh far more than is a normal allowance for my height, but always measure well under tape requirements. So, from all I've read and experienced, if you're a light, petite...Read more
