I last bought a pair of waterproof boots in 1999. They wore out this past winter (2O1O-11). Anyhow, Southern California is not a place to shop for winter wear, unless you like to shop and drive all over. I don't. Went online, found these boots - debated at the price until I recalled I paid $169 for my last pair (which were not made by Couger). But this pair has my old ones beat. I can wear the Vinny all the way up, 3/4 of the way up; 1/2 way up or rolled down as far as possible to reveal the unbelievable "fur" that lines the inside. Great value and feels very good...and last but not least - looks good and keeps your feet WARM!!!!
