This is an average hiking boot. Runs small and narrower across the forefoot than other Columbia Omni-Tech boots I've tried. Partial leather upper did not feel as protective or quality as other boots. Good pad at back of ankle. Average tread.

We haven't gone wrong yet with Columbia gear and these boots deliver great value for the money. My wife loved them.

Pro: Great stylish hiking boots, received many compliments.
No need to break in!
Amazing grip! I was climbing across crazy rock surfaces and they never failed me.
I also got it for amazing price at the time (53.22), not sure why.
True to size even though they seem small.
Con: When it rains water could soak into the grey cordura area so these boots were not completely waterproof.
Cacti needles and other misc. shrub could get in and break off in this same area so be careful where you tread.
