Columbia Sportswear Women's Sierra Flurry 2 Insulated Faux Fur Boot

I live in a climate where we get snow/icy conditions a few weeks a year, but mostly deal with rain. I bought the boots thinking they'd be perfect for walking dogs in slushy, icy mud and they are. The grip is good, they are comfortable and easy to clean. This year winter is much colder than usual(this morning was -10C/14F), so I can also confirm they do well in snow and ice. At freezing the boots keep my feet warm but not overly hot with a medium-weight pair of socks.

I have medium-wide (B width) flat feet, so need a roomy fit. These are fine. The heel slips slightly, but not more than other slip-on boots/shoes so it does not bother me. If you have a slightly wide foot (C width) you will probably also be fine because of the extra room for socks. You will just need to wear lighter weight socks. My calves are on the large side of average and these are roomy enough for my socks and thermals, but still narrow enough that my jeans can fit comfortably over the boots as well...Read more

Although I haven't worn them outside my living and kitchen areas, I have no doubt these boots are perfect for Mid-Atlantic and Northeast winters.

They are extremely lightweight. My boyfriend joked that Amazon might have sent me an empty box by accident - that's how light they were while still in the shipping box. My feet felt warm and cozy the second I pulled them on. The leg opening looks like it's too tight or small, but it isn't. Just sit down and pull them on. They fit nice and snug. The traction feels solid, too.

I wish they had these boots in a 7.

These really are great boots, the only problem is that my expectations for them were much higher. They are great for any cold wet conditions, are very warm, very waterproof, Ihave used them everywhere and am satisfied. My only problem with them the very thick sole that has no flexibility, so it's easy to slip when wearing these. I plan to wear these until they have holes in the bottom despite this. When the time comes to buy something new, I will opt for Vivo barefoots for more flexibility. Lastly, I love how lightweight they are and they incredibly easy to get on.
