We live in the Pacific Northwest where rain and moisture is a problem. This shoe kept my wife's feet nice and dry unlike her old pair. When we cross a shallow stream we don't try to pick rocks to scramble across we just walk right through it now that she has these shoes. She likes the traction and feels that it's not too heavy of a shoe. Her only complaints were that she thought the tongue felt a little weird at first, but got used to it. She was also thinking it might run a little small compared to her other' pairs. But, we went for an 8 hour hike and no blisters, she thought it felt pretty good.

If you need shoes to keep you dry, these will do the trick!
