Clarks Women's Beaufort Boot

First let me say these are not horrible, they are very nice boots. My three stars are for these reasons:

1. For the price of nearly $150.00 which these boots are - it would have been nice to know that they are NOT 100% shearling lined. Upon receiving them the tag on the inside indicates the lining states 40% synthetic fur and 60% shearling. Amazon description says "genuine shearling linings and footbed".

Even the Clark's manufacturer website which described these boots does not say 60/40 and it should have. Ditto with the description on Zappos and other online retailers which all say "sheep shearling shaft and sock liner". Believe me, I looked before I ordered these and had I know I might not have ordered them at this price. I would have shelled out the extra and ordered Ugg boots (even though I find them Ugg-ly looking) simply because they use twinface sheepskin and nothing feels as good or breathes as well. and that is what I wanted - 100% real...Read more

Wow are these comfy boots. I haven't walked far enough in them yet to give them 5 stars, but my bet is they will earn that extra star pretty quickly. They are also surprisingly cool looking in a woodsy kind of way. Winter is coming - your feet will be happy in these.
